Founder - Donald "Gib" Brumback
Donald G. (Gib) Brumback is the President, Broker, and Founder of Brumback, Inc. Initially from Walla Walla, Gib’s early career led him to Seattle, WA, Denver, CO, and Dallas, TX where he worked mostly in resort and luxury real estate, before settling in Spokane in 1974. Brumback was founded in 1979 when Gib decided to establish his own brokerage firm. In the beginning, Gib specialized in Real Estate Sales, Leasing, and Development. His first single-handed project was for Kilsby Roberts. Since then, Gib has been at the helm, or a part of every other project Brumback, Inc. has created, developed and/or completed. His foremost business highlights in Spokane would include Plantes Ferry Park, McCauley Hall Professional Center (Marycliff), and Cedar Crossing.
Gib obtained his B.S. at the University of Montana. He is a licensed real estate broker, and a highly established and experienced consultant. Gib and his wife Susan have four adult children, and many grandchildren. They are active in the local community through Financial Leadership for Spokane Young Lives and the Plantes Ferry Sports Complex. They also love taking part in the Spokane Club Social scene. Gib takes pleasure in using his free time to find new investment and development opportunities.
President - Nicholas Brumback
Nick Brumback is President and Co-Owner of Brumback Commercial Real Estate and Brumback Construction. Nick oversees the general management of the businesses and is leading the real estate development, brokerage advising, and construction project growth of the company.
Nick is licensed in Washington as a Real Estate Broker and he is a certified Crane Operator. Nick graduated from Eastern Washington University in 2003 with a Bachelor of Arts in Business Finance and a Bachelor of Arts in Business Economics. His minor was Philosophy with an emphasis in ethics. He since has graduated from the MBA program in 2005.
Nick is licensed in Washington as a Real Estate Broker and he is a certified Crane Operator. He currently resides in Spokane, WA with his wife Jamie and 4 children. Outside of running his businesses, Nick is a songwriter and guitar player and plays regularly with his band throughout the Northwest.
Lead Superintendent - Dave Freitag
Dave has been with us since 2008 and has been an integral member of our construction team. He has helped us build our apartment communities and single family homes as well as leading the team in renovating several buildings.
Superintendent & Project Manager - Jake Weeks
Jake has been with the company since 2009. He is our go-to guy for everything we need on our various sites around town. He works in the property management, construction and building maintenance divisions and anywhere else we may need him. He is a good leader and a strong communicator. He is a certified Crane Operator as of 2021.
In his spare time Jake is an expert fisherman, he also loves restoring cars and giving back to the community.

Property Management
VP Operations- Matt Rounsley
Matt has been with the company since 2001. He is a vital asset in the company's day to day operations. Besides working with the property management side of the company, he helps run and manage the Storage Facilities.
In his spare time, Matt enjoys hunting, camping, figure skating, and spending time with his wife Ashley and their 4 beautiful children. He is currently training for his first marathon.

Regional Property Manager/Broker & Asst. Construction Manager - Kinsey Adams
Kinsey has been with the company since 2019 and is the Assistant Construction Manager and Regional Property Manager/Broker.
With 12 years of property management experience she is happy to assist all tenants in whatever they need help with and making sure you find the right space for your needs.
She also takes care of the administration and coordinating of the construction process to assist ownership in building high quality apartments in a timely manner.
In her spare time, Kinsey enjoys baking, sewing, painting, woodworking and spending time with her two amazing children and all their pets!

Taylor has been with the company since 2022. He is very skilled in customer service and sales and is a valuable member of the team.

Office Manager - Viktoria Miller
Site Manager - Robin Keyes
Robin Keyes is the site manager for the North Cedar Drive-In Storage Facility. Robin grew up traveling around as an Air Force child, but has claimed Spokane as her home since 1970. She joined the Brumback Companies in 2012 and has run the North Cedar facility since 2013. Prior to being employed with Brumback, Robin worked side by side with the company in the rentals industry for Budget.
Robin has also spent many years volunteering for the service organization Youth With A Mission in various short-term faith-based projects involving agriculture, water management, as well as other important fields, to sustain health and quality life. She also has experience in retail sales in a customer service role.

Robin is a very happy and productive team player within the Brumback Companies. She truly enjoys the successful ventures the business takes on. Outside of work, Robin is actively involved in her church praise & worship team and thoroughly enjoys music, quilting, sewing, and cooking.

Chief Financial Officer - Susan Brumback
Susan Brumback is the C.F.O. for the Brumback companies. Born in Madison, Wisconsin and raised in the military as an officer’s child, Susan traveled throughout the United States and Europe, before meeting her husband Gib in Dallas, Texas in the early 1970s. Susan has been at Gib’s side as the right hand woman since the inception of the Brumback brand, when Gib began the company back in 1974. As such, her experience in the business of operations, accounting, administration and human resources has been exclusively hands-on, practical experience. She has helped Gib, and now her son Nick, build business after business under the Brumback umbrella.
The Brumback Companies, and Susan herself, see the role of the C.F.O. as the cog in the middle of the Brumback machine, holding everything together to keep things running smoothly. She obtained her B.A. from Prescott College in Prescott, AZ, and has taken graduate coursework at Gonzaga University, here in Spokane, WA.
Susan is a proud mother of 4 adult children, all of whom work, or have worked in some capacity for Brumback, Inc. Susan also has a dozen grandchildren whom she is passionate about spending family time with. Outside of family, Susan is an enthusiastic gardener who enjoys other outdoor activities such as golfing and hiking, as well as social events involving dancing and music.
