Country Homes Dental Center
While Gib Brumback and his partner were planning the Rowan Medical Center, a doctor group that wanted space in the Rowan Center approached them concerning utilizing their property on Country Homes Boulevard as a down payment on their suite in the Rowan Building. During this time frame, Brumback was working with a dental group that wanted to develop a similar concept for dentists, that was being developed for the doctor groups at the Rowan project. Because Brumback was aware of the positive demographics in the 5-Mile area in Northwest Spokane, it appeared this was a tremendous area for either a medical or dental clinic. Once Brumback agreed to trade for the Country Homes property, it was relatively easy to develop the condominium dental concept with the dentists they were working with, which helped to attract interest from other dentist groups from 1986-1987. Brumback built this 12,600 sf building as a dental building which proved to be very successful at that time in the market place.
