Due to the indelible mark they’ve left in American pop culture, small towns seem to have an almost mythical, larger-than-lifer personality. As someone lucky enough to have grown up in a small town in rural Eastern Washington, I know them to be more than corner stores, and town festivals, or busy bodies and gossip mills.
The town in which I grew up is a place where everyone knows everyone, and helping neighbors is simply done without question. Each unique member of the community plays a vital role and helps make the town what it is. Growing up in this environment, I learned to genuinely value three things: education, service, and above all, people.
As I grew up and prepared to make my mark on the world, I could think of no better way to utilize the ideals of my small-town upbringing than to be a teacher. So, I attended Whitworth University, received a Bachelor of Arts Degree in English, and taught high school English for a few years. While being a teacher was certainly rewarding, the creative, driven side of me wanted more. So, I decided to partner with my husband and his years of experience as a Realtor.
Today, as a Realtor myself, I have the pleasure of meeting new people and helping them begin the next phase in their lives. I am a person who is driven, organized, and enthusiastic about the work I do as a Realtor. I would love the opportunity to share my small town ideals with you and help you in any way I can.
